Smithton Spray Dryer

TGM’s role included design and documentation a new 35m tall precast concrete evaporator building, housing GEA’s spray dryer system. The project included design and documentation of a packaging building with three separate hygiene areas. The building included a red-line change area, MCC and control room, heater room, transformer yard, AMF processing room, and lactose room. The new structure was linked to a new amenities block and an existing warehouse building.

As the Principal Consultant TGM was responsible for organising and obtaining the building permits and producing construction documentation for building and civil components of the project.

The TGM team provided architectural drafting, technical specification, structural and civil engineering and engaged and managed the sub consultants for mechanical, electrical and hydraulics. TGM also provided construction phase services such as site inspection, queries and response to construction RFIs.
