TGM has been associated with the 800 lot Grand Lakes estate in Lara from an early stage, being involved in the town planning, survey, civil design, structural design, project management and contract administration phases of the project.

TGM has been involved in the design of internal roads, servicing, sewer pump station and rising main design and the extensive wetland and open water elements running through the development.

Significant liaison has occurred with the City of Greater Geelong, Barwon Water and other service authorities to provide for future servicing requirements of this estate, including a 2.5km sewer rising main, 8m deep sewer pump station and over 19ha of parkland and reserves to be landscaped and provided to the community.

As part of the Grand Lakes estate, TGM undertook the structural and civil design and construction management for a culvert bridge. The bridge is a 12m long by 16m wide crossing of the wetland system and forms the centerpiece of the development.

Innovation: TGM has been instrumental in the creation of the development which will put the Geelong region at the forefront of residential development. Innovation, technical expertise in engineering and planning have led to the creation of state-of-the-art infrastructure for modern day living which includes lakes, wetlands, primary and secondary stormwater treatment systems, recycled water management with Barwon Water and extensive parkland and open space areas throughout the development.
