Bayshore Avenue Bridge, Drysdale

TGM provided structural engineering, civil engineering, survey and planning services for the bridge over Griggs Creek. Located within the Baywater Estate in Curlewis, TGM’s structural engineering team designed the 32m single span bridge with a 7.2m wide carriageway and 3m footpath each side. The bridge deck slab and beams were analysed on the base idealised grillage analysis. Construction consisted of PSC Super Tee bridge girders with concrete overlay supported on integral abutments and steel piles. The approach roadway has a 3m high retaining wall with soldier pile and precast concrete panel infill 3m high with frontal batter to the creek. The bridge was independently certified by ARUP’s.

TGM’s survey team provided a feature survey of the bridge retaining wall.
