Project Update - Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT) project

Nathan Farrell | | Infrastructure, Surveying,

TGM’s Surveyors recently undertook survey works for the Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT) project. When completed the GPT will provide a long-distance walking experience between Mt Zero and Dunkeld within the Grampians National Park. The GPT will be 160km long when finished; 60km is existing and 100km will be new track. The project also incorporates 11 new hiker camps and one new group camp.

TGM undertook a detailed 3D site feature survey for six hiker camp sites. This project was a real team effort and involved survey staff from TGM’s Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne offices.
