Dr Stefanon joined TGM as an Environmental Engineer, in April 2017. In a short period of time she has established herself as a key asset in TGM’s Environmental / Water division and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Luana has had extensive experience working in both academia and professional environments. She has over 7 years experience in surface water modelling on projects spanning from flood propagation to coastal lagoon hydrodynamics. Luana's advanced knowledge of fluid mechanics and numerical modelling allows her to successfully address all kinds of hydraulic applied problems, using mathematical models.
Prior to joining TGM, Luana honed her skills in a Postdoctoral Research Fellow role and has worked on many research and applied engineering projects commissioned by research organisations, local governments, water authorities and engineering firms.
Luana is currently working on challenging projects throughout Victoria; in the regional and urban flooding space, dam break analyses, and the implementation of Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2016 processes in hydrological and hydraulic analyses.
