Marriners Lookout Water Supply Tank $1.5M

TGM Group used its water industry experience and expertise to design and project manage construction of a 0.6KL ($1.5M) water supply tank and booster pump station to service a 200 lot subdivision located in the seaside town of Apollo Bay, Victoria.

The water supply tank was designed to limit its visual impact on the environment.  The measures used to minimise the impact include cutting the site to reduce the overall height of the tank, use of colours sympathetic to the area and engaging a landscape architect to screen the tank using a plant schedule of indigenous plants.

The pump building houses 3 pumps with provision for a fouth pump if required.  Along with the pumps, the building also houses the main switch board, telemetry control and a back up diesel generator.  The tank and booster pump system is owned and operated by the local water authority.

This project required liaison with various service authorities, sub-consultants and sub-contractors to ensure successful delivery of the project.
